Benefits
The firm’s management is committed to the continued success of its US practice team. To that end, the firm offers each member of the US team a competitive compensation and benefits package, while assigning to each associate a sustainable workload.
With regard to salary, we want the best people and to that end we are willing to pay our associates salaries that are commensurate with those of the leading Wall Street firms at every level. In appropriate circumstances, we also pay a “cost of living” allowance.
For associates who join the firm on a permanent basis, we cover all expenses for the New York Bar examination (including a bar review course, exam fees and travel to the swearing-in ceremony). After our new hires have completed the bar and are ready to join the firm, we also pay all travel and relocation expenses and help to find permanent accommodation.
Additional benefits include:
- 27 days of holiday each calendar year
- matched pension scheme contributions
- participation in the firm’s two bonus schemes
- private medical insurance
- disability insurance
- life assurance
- tax advisement
- group personal accident insurance
- subsidized gym membership
Billable hours
We are often asked by prospective candidates about the minimum number of billable hours that the firm expects new associates to bill each year. While there are no set minimums, the average US associate bills 1,800 hours per year
