We have advised on deals, dispute resolution and projects in Russia since 1992 and opened our Moscow office in 1999.

- Eni on a strategic joint venture with Rosneft to develop oil and gas reserves in the Barents Sea and Black Sea
- Barclays as agent (and part of a syndicate of 13 leading banks) on a dual-currency loan facility for Russian oil giant Rosneft, including a dollar tranche of 1.4 billion and a euro tranche of 470 million
- Vnesheconombank (VEB) on the issue of US$1 billion loan participation notes (LPN) due 2022, issued under VEB's existing US$30 billion LPN programme. The notes are listed on the Irish Stock Exchange
- Nikolai Maximov in seeking recognition and enforcement of a US$280 million Russian arbitral award against Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant (NLMK) in France and coordinating a number of related litigation and attachment proceedings in several western jurisdictions
